SCOOP THE JOKER
Offered to members and guests who are in attendance on Saturdays and Sundays only.
Tickets holders must be in attendance when the tickets are drawn. We have a 5 PM cut-off.
Every Saturday and Sunday at Branch 52 in Kamloops, Legion Members and guests are provided tickets for each beverage purchase to participate in Scoop the Joker.
When a ticket is pulled, the owner of the ticket is given the opportunity to draw from a pack of cards. If the Joker is pulled, the prize is awarded.
On Aug 4 & 11, two Legion members selected the Joker and won the prize.

Another successful year at Legion Nationals From August 9–11, youth athletes from across Canada competed in the 2019 Royal Canadian Legion’s National Youth Track and Field Championships in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
Records were broken, friendships blossomed, and memories were made that will last a lifetime.
This was the 43rd year for the Legion Nationals, Canada’s only nationwide youth track and field competition.

LEGION SUPPORTS YOUTH
Members of the Kamloops Legion are proud to support sports programs for youth. On June 23, 2019, Karen Wandler presented a donation to Jack Kroucher, to support the upcoming Junior Golf Tournament which is held annually in Kamloops.
The Dominion Executive Council has authorized the Legion’s D-Day Commemorative lapel pin for wear on Legion Dress until December 31, 2019. It is permitted to be worn on the right lapel of the Legion blazer along with the current “We Support Our Troops” lapel pin. To order your pin, contact the Legion Supply Department.
On June 23, 2019, Karen Wandler presented a donation to CPO Doherty and Lt (N) Lance Currie of the Navy League Corps in Kamloops.
Kamloops Legion supports all the Cadets Corps.

CELEBRATING 90+ YEARS
Kamloops Branch 52 obtained its Charter on May 27th, 1927, and was located on Lorne Street. 90th Anniversary celebrations were held in June of 2017.
In 1930 the Branch moved to its owned building on Lansdowne Street. In 1979 the Branch moved to the 1200 block of Victoria Street.
In 2002, the Branch returned to its former location at 425 Lansdowne Street and rents the premises.
